On the Android welcome screen, first select the language you want to use on the device.
During initial Android setup, try tapping the welcome screen 6 times quickly to open the setup QR scanner. This works on many compatible devices, but the exact method may vary by manufacturer.
Connect the device to the Internet if Android asks you to.
Scan the QR code below using the Android setup scanner.
Important: do not scan this code with the Camera app.

How do I scan the QR correctly?
The device must be new or factory-reset and still in the initial Android setup.
Return to the welcome screen and try several quick taps again (usually 6 where supported).
On Samsung or other manufacturers, the steps may differ. Use the QR setup option provided by the manufacturer’s initial setup screen.
If you scanned the QR with the Camera app or another app, close it, return to Android initial setup and open the setup scanner.
You do not need to generate another QR just because you opened the help instructions or scanned it from the wrong place.
