1. Data controller
VV HOLDING GROUP S.R.L. is the controller for data associated with the VV Kiosk service, orders and licensing. Contact details are displayed on this page.
2. Data categories
Depending on the services used, we may process email address, country, company and tax details for invoicing, order and transaction identifiers, payment status, license information, and technical data required for the operation, activation, security and support of VV Kiosk.
3. Technical, activation and licensing data
For activation and the “one license = one device” rule, we may process device and license identifiers, a derived/hashed enrollment identifier, device name, manufacturer, model, Android version, SDK level, app version and build number, activation status, and technical or diagnostic events. Technical device credentials are protected; where the backend retains a device secret for verification, it is stored as a hash rather than as the plaintext secret.
4. Installed apps and device management
VV Kiosk is a kiosk, parental and company-device management product. For its core functions, the app may access information about apps installed or available on the device so that the administrator can select permitted, restricted, visible or hidden apps and apply the management configuration. VV Kiosk does not use this information for advertising or for selling user profiles.
5. Android Management API, Android Device Policy and Managed Google Play
On devices managed through Android Management API (AMAPI), Google Android Device Policy and Managed Google Play may process information necessary for enrollment, management and policy enforcement. Depending on the enabled policy and features, management services may process or make available information about the device, software, apps, security, network and management status. VV Kiosk uses only information necessary for the management, licensing, security and support functions configured for the service.
6. Local data and personal content
The VV Kiosk administration PIN and related PIN material are intended to remain locally on the device and are not transmitted to the VV backend for licensing. VV Kiosk is not designed to collect personal phone content such as photos, messages, conversations or personal documents, except where a future explicitly requested feature would require such access and it is disclosed to the user in accordance with applicable requirements.
7. Purposes of processing
Data is processed to perform the order and contract, issue and manage licenses, associate a license with a device, enroll and manage devices, apply administrator-selected configurations, prevent fraud and unauthorized use, diagnose errors, provide technical support and security, maintain accounting records and comply with legal obligations.
8. Acceptance records
To evidence contract formation and customer disclosures, we may retain the accepted versions of the Terms, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, date and time of acceptance, language, order ID, mandatory checkbox states and, where necessary for security or contractual evidence, technical information such as IP address and user-agent.
9. Payments
Payments are processed by the integrated payment service provider or bank. We may receive the transaction identifier, amount, currency and transaction status. VV Kiosk does not need to store the full card number, CVV or other sensitive card-authentication data.
10. Legal basis
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, processing may be necessary to perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate interests relating to security and fraud prevention or, where required, be based on consent.
11. Retention and deletion
Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was processed, including license and contractual administration, security, dispute resolution, accounting and legal obligations. When data is no longer necessary and there is no legal obligation or legitimate basis to retain it, it may be deleted or anonymized. Requests concerning deletion may be sent to support@vvkiosk.com; certain data may be retained where required by law or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal rights.
12. Service providers and international transfers
Service providers for hosting, databases, email, security, payments and device management may be used to provide the service, including Google services used for Android Management API, Android Device Policy and Managed Google Play. Where data is processed in another jurisdiction, safeguards and transfer mechanisms required by applicable law are used.
13. Devices managed for other people
VV Kiosk may be configured by a parent, company administrator or another authorized administrator for a device used by another person. The person or organization administering the device is responsible for having the necessary authority and for informing the device user where required by applicable law.
14. Data-subject rights
Subject to applicable law, individuals may request information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or exercise other applicable rights by contacting support@vvkiosk.com.
15. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data and limit unauthorized access. Credentials and sensitive identifiers are protected with measures appropriate to their purpose, although no Internet-connected information system can be guaranteed to be absolutely risk-free.
16. Policy updates
This Policy may be updated to reflect changes to the product, services, Google requirements, technologies used or applicable law. The version relevant at the time of an order acceptance is retained where applicable.
