1. Supplier and contract
VV Kiosk is supplied by VV HOLDING GROUP S.R.L. as software for compatible Android devices used to configure and manage a dedicated/kiosk device.
2. One-device license
One license is valid for one physical device. After first activation it is bound to that device's technical identity. It may be reused after reset/reinstall only on the same device and cannot be transferred. Hardware changes such as motherboard replacement may change the recognized device identity.
3. Price and digital delivery
The standard price is EUR 24.90 per device as a one-time payment with no subscription. Digital delivery begins after payment confirmation. Bank or currency-conversion fees charged by third parties are outside the Supplier's control.
4. Compatibility check
The customer must check compatibility before purchase. The online check is indicative and is not a guarantee that VV Kiosk will work on every model, Android version, firmware or OEM implementation.
5. Technical limitations
Operation may be affected by the manufacturer, model, Android version, firmware, Google services, OEM policies, bootloader, root, custom ROM, existing MDM/Device Owner, security changes, Android updates or third-party apps.
6. Factory reset and data loss
Full provisioning may require a new or factory-reset device. A factory reset may permanently erase photos, files, contacts, messages, accounts, apps, settings and other local data. The customer is solely responsible for backing up data before reset/configuration.
7. Device Owner / Kiosk effects
VV Kiosk uses Android device-management capabilities. Depending on administrator settings, access to apps, settings, Internet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile data, notifications, system functions, app installation/removal and other features may intentionally be restricted.
8. Device unavailability and recovery
Incompatibility, configuration errors, Android/OEM errors, system updates, corruption or lockups may make the device temporarily difficult or impossible to use normally. Recovery may require restart, configuration removal, reinstall or factory reset and may cause loss of unsaved data.
9. Administrator responsibility
The device Administrator is responsible for the settings applied in VV Kiosk, including allowed apps, Internet access, schedules, device functions and user permissions. Incorrect configuration may block access to important apps or functions.
10. Administrator PIN
The Administrator PIN is local and cannot be recovered by the Supplier. If lost, factory reset, reinstall and a new PIN may be required.
11. Android/OEM updates and third parties
VV Kiosk depends on Android and manufacturer implementations. System updates, OEM changes, Google services or third-party apps may alter compatibility or behavior. The Supplier may release corrective updates but cannot guarantee an immediate remedy for every external change.
12. Third-party managed devices
VV Kiosk must not be installed on a device controlled by another organization, MDM or Device Owner without authorization. The customer represents that they have authority to administer the device.
13. Modified devices
Operation is not guaranteed on rooted devices, unlocked/modified bootloaders, custom ROMs, unofficial firmware or other modifications to standard Android security mechanisms.
14. Backups and continuity
The customer is responsible for backups of important data and, for business use, for maintaining an alternative method/device where temporary unavailability could disrupt operations.
15. Non-critical use
VV Kiosk is not designed for systems where device unavailability could by itself cause death, bodily injury, safety hazards, interruption of emergency medical services, critical-infrastructure control or similarly severe consequences.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Supplier is not liable for loss of unsaved data, temporary loss of device access, reset/reinstall requirements, business interruption, Android/OEM incompatibilities or consequences of Administrator configuration, use contrary to instructions, device modifications or third-party services. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
17. Indirect losses
To the extent permitted by law, the Supplier is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, revenue, opportunity, reputation, unsaved data or costs resulting from temporary device unavailability. Mandatory liability remains unaffected.
18. Operational testing
Business customers must test the configuration on the actual device before operational deployment and confirm that all required apps and functions remain available.
19. VV Kiosk updates
The Supplier may release security, compatibility, bug-fix and improvement updates. A newer version may be recommended where needed for compatibility or security.
20. Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory rights granted by applicable consumer law. If a clause conflicts with mandatory law, that law prevails and the remaining Terms continue to apply as far as legally permitted.
21. Changes to Terms
Terms may be updated for legal, technical or commercial reasons. The version accepted at the time of each order is retained.
22. Governing law and disputes
The contract is governed by applicable law of the Republic of Moldova without displacing mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply in the customer's jurisdiction. Parties should first seek an amicable solution through Support.
